Movie Story: Storytelling in all its forms, is constrained in “The Catechism cataclysm.” In this strange story, and divine grace, beer, wild characters in the stories of stories until the lines between the Bible, Mark Twain, and campfire stories are hilarious blurred. Billy’s father (Steve Little), an eccentric young priest, he is forced to take a sabbatical by his superiors when he discovered the inadequacy of his flock parables.
Billy Idol stalking her high school Robbie (Robert Longstreet), who reluctantly agrees to a canoe trip. In water, both men recall the days of Billy as a keyboardist in a group of Christians and Robbie as a guitarist in a metal band. As night approaches, they realize they have lost their way – and that’s where things get strange.
