Network Station, the novel 2010 by Adrian Magson which launched its “Harry Tate” series has been optioned by Benderspink, says a story in The Hollywood Reporter The plot of the book is officially described as follows.:

Harry is a former soldier, loyal Security Service (MI5) officer and a state servant. It does what it says, the war against terrorism, drugs and the high level of criminal gangs.

When things go wrong, and two civilians were killed during a drug interdiction, which is committed to taking an immediate announcement to a place called Red Station to help the agency to avoid embarrassing questions from the media.

All you Harry knows he is in a remote location where they will be under strict orders to stay off the radar – a no-contact rule. This includes old classmates, friends, family – everyone.

What his bosses told him, however, is that the Red Train is a punishment for sending the watered Spooks MI5 and MI6 … and that Harry should not go home.

What is the place where they have seriously underestimated his man. Because the faithful servant has its limits, and when he discovers that the start-up behind the station is not all red as it looks, and his life is in imminent danger, not just a Russian invasion army, but a government group of murderers known as Hit, decided to fight.

Red station was followed this year by another adventure Tate, “plotters” with more books to come.

The writers are not still attached to the film version of Red Station, but Jake Weiner and Christopher Cosmo is to oversee the project.
