Movie Story: In this thriller Stark (“Being John Malkovich” John Cusack) Edgar Allen Poe is associated with a young police officer in Baltimore (Luke Evans, “Immortals”) to track down a crazed killer in series that uses own works of Poe as the basis for a series of brutal murders. Directed by James McTeigue (“V for Vendetta”), the film also stars Alice Eve (“Sex and the City 2″), Brendan Gleeson (“In Bruges”) and Oliver Jackson Cohen (“more quickly “).
When a mother and daughter are found brutally murdered in the 19 century, Baltimore, Detective Emmett Fields (Luke Evans) makes a surprising discovery: the crime fiction is like a murder, gory details in the local newspaper, part a collection of stories written by the great writer and social outcast Edgar Allan Poe. But even then, Poe is questioned by police, another horrible murder occurs, also inspired by a People’s History Poe.
