It ‘time again ComingSoon.net’ s Oscar Warrior gives his take on the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) is likely to celebrate 83 Annual Academy Awards. Having already written a lot ‘of our preview, we will do our best to avoid a repetition of what already exists.
At this point, many groups have renewed their criticism of the winners and the prestigious Broadcast Film Critics Association (Critics Choice Awards), Hollywood Foreign Press (Golden Globes) and the Screen Actors Guild have announced their candidacies. For the first time we are including the International Academy Awards Press by satellite as a precursor, but it is more important than winning for their candidates, because, as all but the SAG, which allow more than six in each category.
Oscar voting is out, and we are just weeks away from the release of the Oscar nominations Jan. 25, and although we have a clearer idea of how things can play than we did a few weeks, there is always room for surprises, and hopefully get a couple of years.
